Fixed an issue where Concentration and other slowdown mechanics wouldn’t work for everyone.Fixed an issue where the game would crash if the SteamUI didn’t initialize properly on startup.Outside of that, the rest of the fixes are for various "backend issues" as well as a video corruption bug that occurred on certain system configurations. There's also a crash fix to do with the Steam UI. It does, however, fix the bug that prevented Concentration (slow-mo) from activating for some players, despite having the skill. Patch 1.01, available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, doesn't actually bring that many fixes. Guerrilla Games has since confirmed it is aware of all reports, and today's patch is the first of many. From inexplicable performance problems on powerful systems, to weird bugs and omissions, the port has been frustrating many of those who chose to jump in at launch. The PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn has, to say the very least, been disappointing. Guerrilla Games has just rolled out a new update for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, one week after the game's release.
